Description
The Agilent 1290 Infinity II Diode Array Detector FS (fixed slit) is a UV-Vis detection module designed to deliver multiple wavelength detection with full spectral scanning at sampling rates up to 120 Hz, making it well suited for fast LC separations. It uses a 1024-element diode array combined with a deuterium light source, and its Max-Light flow cell features optofluidic waveguides that improve light transmission to near 100% efficiency without sacrificing resolution from cell dispersion effects. The standard 60 mm path-length flow cell delivers up to 10 times higher sensitivity than detectors using conventional flow cells, with typical noise levels of ±0.6 µAU/cm. As part of Agilent’s InfinityLab LC Series, this detector integrates seamlessly with other 1290 Infinity II modules to build complete, high-performance liquid chromatography systems.
