The Thermo Scientific Forma CryoPlus 2 Storage System is a liquid nitrogen cryogenic storage tank designed to maximize valuable laboratory storage space, capable of holding up to 38,500 2.0 mL vials. It combines the reliability of liquid nitrogen storage with microprocessor-based control technology, giving users precise, accurate management of storage parameters without complicated programming. The tank features a counterbalanced lid with foamed-in-place, high-density polyurethane insulation, a dedicated vent, and 100% clearance, along with two independent, flexible lid gaskets that reduce moisture migration into the chamber. A digital temperature display sensor located under the lid indicates the highest temperature reading inside the tank, while 24 tricolor LEDs continuously display the actual liquid nitrogen level alongside high- and low-level setpoints. Built with a fiberglass exterior, stainless steel interior, lockable lid, and heavy-duty casters, it’s engineered for safe, efficient, and long-term cryogenic sample storage.
